How accurate are the listings and inspections at horton's auto sales?

A friend swears by horton's auto sales but I want to know how honest the condition write ups actually are before the car shows up on a truck. Photos can hide a lot and I'd rather know now than argue with a driver at the curb.

Has anyone had a car turn up looking rougher than the listing implied, or is the inspection process actually solid?

We got a saloon from horton's auto sales in the spring and the write up actually matched what turned up. Small scuff on the bumper they'd already noted, nothing hidden. Wouldn't call it a showroom finish but it felt honest.

mine was pretty spot on tbh, maybe a bit dusty from transport but that's it

Not rougher, just older looking in person than the photos suggested, which makes sense with anything vintage. The 12 month warranty gave me a bit of peace of mind when a sensor acted up a week after delivery.

no complaints here, horton's described the interior wear pretty accurately for what it was worth

I work adjacent to the trade so I'll say the pre delivery inspection they run is fairly basic, it catches the obvious stuff but won't flag everything a deeper mechanic check would. Still better than nothing and it's included with every car that leaves horton's auto sales.

Description matched close enough for me, would buy again from horton's auto sales.

Deb W. always check the paperwork twice before signing anything.

Wanted to add my own experience with horton's auto sales, the listing photos were honestly better lit than real life but the actual condition lined up with what they'd written. No regrets on my end.
